PH immigration arrests 2 Koreans in Mindanao
만다나오에서 한국인 두 명이 이민국에 의해서 체포되었습니다.

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Wednesday reported it has arrested two Korean nationals in Mindanao for violating the country’s immigration laws.

이민국에서는 한국인 두명이 이민법을 위반하여 체포하였다고 전했습니다.

In a statement, Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said the bureau’s intelligence division nabbed Shin Jaewon, 36, and Park Kwang Soo, 53, in separate operations conducted last week.

신재원(36세), 박광수(53세)씨가 각각의 체포작전에 의해서 지난 주에 체포되었습니다.

Morente said Shin, a fugitive who escaped from detention two years ago, was re-captured on Nov. 27 inside a hotel room in Cagayan de Oro.

신씨는 2년전에 구금중에 탈출하였으며 지난 주, 카카얀 데 오로의 한 호텔에서 체포되었습니다.

The bureau said Shin is wanted in Korea for fraud since 2012, and has been on the bureau’s wanted list since he escaped their custody in 2017.

신씨는 한국에서 2012년 부터 사기죄로 수배 중이었으며 이민국의 리스트에 포함되었었습니다.

Meanwhile, Park, a tourist who overstayed in the country for 13 years, was apprehended on Nov. 28 in his residence in Davao City.

박씨는 여행자로서 13년 동안이나 불법체류를 하였습니다.

“Park was unable to show his passport and instead presented a fake Philippine postal ID when asked to produce his identification documents by the arresting agents,” the bureau added.

박씨는 체포당시 여권을 제출하지 못했으며 대신 가짜 아이디를 제출했습니다.

The two Korean nationals are set to be deported, and will be blacklisted and banned from re-entering the country.

이 두명의 한국인은 추방 예정에 있으며 블랙리스트에 포함되어 필리핀에 재 입국하지 못하게 될 것입니다.
